~~~ ABOUT hickman's ~~~

Bryce Hickman attended State Tech College in Linn, Mo. He graduated from their Automotive Technician Program with honors. He worked as an automotive technician at Blackwell Garage and Poettgen Automotive until achieving a lifelong dream of owning his own garage. He opened Hickman's Automotive in 2020 and operated the company until Bryce's fight with kidney cancer wouldn't allow him to. Sadly, Bryce lost his battle in March of 2024. The shop was closed until it was purchased by brothers Dennis and Dan Scheulen and reopened in July of 2024. I was fortunate to work with Bryce after I graduated State Tech in 2022 and went on to run the shop for Dennis and Dan Scheulen. In July of 2026 I started Prenger Automotive Co. DBA Hickman's Automotive to carry on Bryce's' dream. A special thanks to Frank Forck for helping with a temporary home while we find a permanent location.
